Bible-centred faith
28 Fundamental Beliefs
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed. These 28 beliefs summarize how the worldwide church understands Scripture and applies its teaching to faith, worship, daily life and hope for the future.
These beliefs do not replace the Bible. They are a shared expression of what Adventists understand the Bible to teach, always subject to the authority of God’s Word.
God
God, His Word and the three divine Persons who reveal His love.
Humanity
Our origin, identity, freedom, fall and dependence on our Creator.
Salvation
Christ’s victory over sin and the transforming experience of grace.
Church
The community, mission, unity and shared practices of Christ’s people.
Daily Living
Spirit-led discipleship expressed in worship, relationships, health and stewardship.
Restoration (End Times)
Christ’s heavenly ministry, return, judgment and the complete renewal of creation.
