Baptism
What we believe
Baptism publicly confesses faith in Christ’s death and resurrection and the believer’s decision to die to sin and live a new life. It symbolizes union with Christ, forgiveness and receiving the Holy Spirit. Biblical baptism is by immersion after instruction in Scripture, personal faith in Jesus and evidence of repentance.
Baptism marks the beginning of a visible life of discipleship within Christ’s church.
