The Gift of Prophecy
What we believe
Prophecy is one of the Holy Spirit’s gifts and an identifying feature of the remnant church. Adventists believe this gift was manifested in the ministry of Ellen G. White. Her writings bring comfort, guidance, instruction and correction, while consistently directing the church to the Bible as the final standard for every teaching and experience.
The prophetic gift serves the church, but never replaces or outranks Scripture.
