The Second Coming of Christ
What we believe
Christ’s return is the church’s blessed hope and the climax of the gospel. His coming will be literal, personal, visible and worldwide. The righteous dead will rise, and with the faithful living will be glorified and taken to heaven. Prophecy and world conditions point to its nearness, but no date is revealed, so believers remain ready.
Christian hope looks to a returning Person, not merely a better human future.
